Marvel has signed a deal with Netflix to produce four separate new live-action TV series – Daredevil, Luke Cage, Iron Fist and Jessica Jones. The four shows will then lead into a team-up miniseries, The Defenders.

Looks like I will sign up for Netflix again...
Certainly some BIG plans ahead for Marvel on the small and big screen.
More incredibly incremental positives for Netflix and Disney.
This is so smart. These are characters well suited to a long-form story, and unlike SHIELD, there will be actual superheroes. I think SHIELD is fine, but some folks I talk to kind of thought it would have more super heroics. For an old Marvel geek, a Defenders mini series is like some kind of weird dream.
Awesome! Already have Netflix so now I'll just have to wait.
