Anyone have any thoughts on the new OS? Friend of mine loves the beta version (he hates 8, but loves this new iteration).

Haven't tried it yet, but I've heard pretty good things. Probably building a new PC sometime later this year. Hoping Win v.10 is out by then.

This is pretty cool.....but its Microsoft :( Pretty exciting stuff and it will be out this year.

I've just finished upgrading my laptop by adding a 1tb drive in addition to my 240SDD and just replaced the wi-fi card with an AC card to get this ready as my primary machine and to run 10

Okay, my laptop is now on Windows 10 and so far so good, but I didn't have many problems with 8. The side bar with the charms is now gone and the metro screen has been fused into the start menu for a best of both worlds feel to it.
