Character History:
Wystan was born to Edmon, an engineer, and Kathleen, a starship security officer, Dagget. Being the youngest of four siblings, Wystan was never taken seriously by anyone other than his mother and his older brother, Dylan. Trying to get the respect of his father was his main priority, even tough he was the complete opposite his father wanted him to be. Wystan wasn't the strong leader that his father had always dreamed of having; instead Wystan was reserved and intellectual, and tried to avoid contact with anyone other than his mother and brother. When Wystan was 12 his father and mother divorced, and his father took with all his siblings to live on the USS Desonisus, a research vessel gathering data from the borders of the Gamma Quadrant. Only Wystan remained with his mother. Several years later, on the day of Wystan's graduation from Starfleet academy, the Desonisus was attacked and destroyed by Hunters who believed that the Desonisus was helping smuggle Tosk out of the Gamma Quadrant. Crushed by his Fathers and Siblings deaths, he fell into depression, something which he still has relapses of. Trough the help of his mother, Wystan managed to (at least temporarily) fight off the depression long enough to get a posting on the Starship Tiberius. Although he has told no one of his relapses in depression, he feels that he needs to fight it off by himself, and not with the help of others.
