Title: Formating your posts
Post by: Jen on March 15, 2008, 06:25:23 PM
Please pay attention to your posts after you upload them to the Story So Far. Preview them before you post, and go back over them and make sure everything looks right.  I've had to go in and edit a few of your posts that had some very odd hard returns... it's hard to read them when they are jumbled into a bunch of broken sentences. Sometimes that happens when you type something in an email and post it in the forum. So just try to double check after you've pasted text, or anytime you write something... make sure that everything looks right.

Also, try to break up giant paragraphs into smaller ones. It's difficult to read a huge block of text that stretches all the way down the page. You can do this by breaking them every time another person is talking... devote one paragraph to each person sharing dialog in your post.

"Bump." Watch this next weekend when you begin to post. Make sure you add a space between paragraphs and format the rest of your posts correctly so that it is easy for the reader to read. Using the "Preview" button before you post, will help you determine which areas in your writing need help. Use spell check too. Sometimes you may miss a typo... reread your posts before posting to make sure typos are at a minimum.
