Yes, having listened to various series podcasts, I've learned a lot about how act breaks are actually written into the production. It must make the translation of BBC shows into other countries quite tricky.

yes they are called show clocks.. it's depends on the length of the show but Half hour shows are broken down into 3 to 4 acts.. hour long shows are broken down into 6 to 8 acts.. depends on the Network...  normally the first act is the longest and the last act the shortest.

Just a little heads up, but I saw at my local comic shop yesterday that there is a new "Doctor Who" comic out (issue #1) featuring Matt Smith's Doctor.  Art looked pretty good.  Kind of hit my buying limit so I didn't pick it up, but thought I'd pass on the info.

Ooo and a number one to boot. Cheers Rico

The Two Minute Time Lord reviewed that comic on his most recent podcast and spoke well of it.

Tonight is our National Television Awards (its still going on as we type) and it started off with a great special clip featuring the good Doctor and host Dermot O'leary.

That was fun.  100 years in the the future at the BBC I was betting it was going to be Terry Wogan, but Bruce was just as good.

Not going to watch that show anymore, it utterly destroys critical thinking in me and even the schmaltziest elements completely bypass my guarding inner cynic and make me cry rivers.
See, even thinking about it makes me tearing up, I tell you, it's EVIL!

So, when will the next season start? :)

I just got around to watching Doctor Who at the Proms from my DVR. What a awesome show that was. That place also looked really cool. And it wouldn't have been as good without the actors showing up. Very well done.

Cool.. I still have that on my DVR.. it's 2 hours and I just can't find the time to sit down and watch it.. but I'll keep it there for now until I watch it.

That's the Royal Albert Hall. Awesome building.

Feathers

It was a good show and the Albert Hall is pretty unique. I've only been there once (without Dr Who) but it's quite a place.

I know it's unnusual here but I don't have a podcast of my own.

I like this quick reference to all the doctors.
