Metisse- "Boom Boom Ba"

I first heard this song on the Dead Like Me movie.  Both the song and the TV show are incredible.

Yes I liked Rolling in the Deep To Zarabeth. Kinda makes you wonder what she is going to write about on her next album though,as this one is about her break up.Also she got a compliment of Dylan for her cover.

@ Wraith1701 Boom Boom Ba is a great song. I loved Dead Like Me. It ended way too soon and the following movies were ok not that great but the show was really good. Also loved the music from Pushing Daisies. Did you ever see that show? Another show that ended before it took off.

@ Stonut Adele's music reminds me of the classic 50's-60's female singers. She's got such a soulful voice. She definitely puts so much emotion into her songs as she sings.

The recent Trek/Avatar mashup trailer I posted got me thinking of the awesome music in that trailer again.  It's by a group called "Two Steps from Hell."  I just bought their whole album ("Invincible") off Amazon for $7.99 (and now it's on my Cloud Drive there too!).  I think most here will love this whole album and recognize many of the tracks used in movie trailers and games, etc.  Here are a couple of samples:

Track used: "Freedom Fighters"
Battlestar Galactica - Freedom Fighters

Track used: "Heart of Courage"

I just found out that Fred Steiner, composer of classic TOS music (and many impressive classics such as the Perry Mason theme) passed away recently:

So I'm listening to some of the music of Fred Steiner.

@turtlesrock: That brings to mind They Might Be Giants. Not as highfalutin', but cool nonetheless.  :)

Yeah, they're great. They even cover history and geography:

I love They Might Be Giants!!! They have a few great educational cds out as well as their popular music "Here come the 123's" "Here come the ABC's." They also have one for science. I also enjoyed when a couple of the women in "Pushing Daisies" sang "Birdhouse in your soul." Also "Dr. Worm" is a great song too.  :o
