I thought this might be interesting. What are your own top five gadgets that you own? The ones you love, the ones you use the most or those that have a special place in your heart. I'll kick it off. (In no particular order)

Ipod classic 80GB - I probably use this more than any other gadget. Truly one of the best tech inventions ever.

Blackberry Curve - Only had this for a couple of weeks but my, what a piece of tech. Wonderful smartphone.

Dell Laptop - No room in my house, this is my only PC and I love my Dell, need a bigger one though.  ;D

Sky+ Box - Only my fellow Brits will get this. I think it's similar to Tivo. TV hasn't been the same since. Invaluable.

Sony Cybershot camera - Only point and shoot with 7.2MP but perfect for posting video to forums.

Go ahead, give me your gadget heavens.

1) my Advent 5301 laptop, currently the fastest PC I've ever owned and I love it to bits with it's shiny black exterior and awesome power. Sadly only has a integrated graphics card but it runs most things fine :)
2) my Game Gear. I don't care what anyone tells me, the Game Gear was the most awesome hand held and I will never understand how the game boy was more popular when it was B&W with a tiny screen and the Game Gear was colour with a large screen!
3) my Canon PowerShot A580, A80 and Olympus OM-20 (film camera) - they're all awesome and I could never choose between them. My A80 is special as it was my first digital camera, might only be 5mpx but it has a variable LCD screen (and Canon fixed it for free despite it being 5+yrs old and out of warranty), my A580 has 8mpx of goodness. My OM-20 might be considered out-dated but there's nothing more fun than playing around with film.
4) my CASIO fx-115s calculator - I'm dyslexic and I owe this calculator for not only helping me get through GCSE Maths & Science (C & BB respectively!) but for helping me qualify as an electrician. I could not have got through the exam and coped with calculating power factor correction factors without it :)
5) grudgingly going to have put iPod as that's the only other gadget I own, I only wish the audio quality when buying audiobooks from Audible was better and since that's pretty much all I use it for it really does start to grate after a bit.
This question has baffled mankind for all eternity... why don't sheep shrink in the rain?

Good question Rico....I looked it up and found this definition on Wikipedia. We all know how trustworthy Wikipedia is so take it with a grain of salt:

A gadget is a small technological object (such as a device or an appliance) that has a particular function, but is often thought of as a novelty. Gadgets are invariably considered to be more unusually or cleverly designed than normal technology at the time of their invention. Gadgets are sometimes also referred to as gizmos.

My PVR - Love it as it has changed how I watch TV (Though it did not record Clone Wars the other night...but not it's fault)
My Wife's Canon Rebel xti - have been really enjoying taking pictures, and looking to get better
Nintendo DS - Always there when I have some downtime, or out and need something to keep my attention.
My Linksys Wireless Router - After all my pain with my previous Dlink router, it has given me back my internet. It is not fancy, but it gets the job done.
My 30 GB Ipod - Get to keep up with Treks in Sci-Fi, Anomaly, RR , Ricks Parodies and all the other cool podcasts out there. Going back to the office next month, so will even be more important for the bus trips.
