That's the music from my absolute favorite scene of the movie. [spoiler]After the Kelvin crashes into the Narada and the camera pans back and you see all of the debris floating in space and the flotilla of shuttles escaping[/spoiler] ...and then the opening credits roll and that music plays, I had had goose bumps from head to toe!

I like the opening credits too...but to me it didn't sound like Star Trek. It sounded like Batman. But I still like it. Just not as much as First Contact. :(

I like the opening credits too...but to me it didn't sound like Star Trek. It sounded like Batman. But I still like it. Just not as much as First Contact. :(

I do have to admit that on my first viewing I was initially dissapointed that it didn't open with THE Star Trek music. But then they added little touches of it here and there throughout the movie and at the end; so then I was cool with it, and on my second and third viewing i was able to just enjoy what we had and I thought it fit in perfectly. Seriously, chills down the spine and all.  :blush
