Well our good (new) Doctor has turned up in the new series of the sarah jane adventures. And he is not alone, third Doctor companion Jo Grant makes a return. Here's the statement.

Russell T Davies has spoken about bringing back former Doctor Who companion Jo Grant in The Sarah Jane Adventures.

Jo Grant (played by Katy Manning) will return to the Whoniverse after 37 years, and will join Matt Smith's Doctor in the story Death of the Doctor.

Davies revealed to SFX that he wanted to remain faithful to the characters original exit, "For the first time ever, I went and watched old stuff. I think it's really important to preserve the absolute beauty of what [producer] Barry Letts and [script editor] Terrance Dicks did [in Doctor Who: The Green Death]."

"I know there's a feeling [now] that she'd have got divorced, and there was a theory that she'd be living on her own in Wales in a little cottage – some of the novels did this – and you think, 'Nice idea, but actually that's absolutely betraying the way we left her'. We left her with the promise of happiness, of adventure, of love and joy, and you can't be cynical and undercut that."

Interesting aye, hmmmmm

Nice quote here from the same site regarding the new (blurghhhhh) Daleks

Steven Moffat reveals we haven't have seen the last of the old Daleks which were (seemingly) destroyed and replaced by a rainbow coloured "new paradigm" in Victory of the Daleks.

Says Moffat, "The fact is, we're not going to lose the old Daleks. We're keeping them. They're coming back. We'll just use them all at once, and have different ranks. All I've done is give the Daleks an officer class."

This sheds some new light on an earlier quote by Moffat who said when they return "There will be lots of different kinds."

And here are some snaps from filming

According to reports as well The Sarah jane Adventures will address and resolve the dilema of the Doctors regeneration limit.
Quote
"Steven Moffat said that the Doctor Who regeneration limit (by which Timelord can regenerate twelve times before finally dying) would be addressed in future.

Well, it looks as though we won't have to wait long to see the issue put to rest. According to Digital Spy it will finally get resolved in Series 4 of The Sarah Jane Adventures.

One of their teasers for story Death of the Doctor reveals: "The Doctor doesn't have to be white. And he can regenerate more than 12 times -- a lot more!"

We'll just have to wait and see exactly what that means when the two-part story airs in a few weeks.
"

And here is a clip of Sarah Jane meeting the 11th Doctor for the first time.

It's a great show reel and you have to chuckle at putting the clips together featuring three actors to play the Dr. Two if those shows ( are on this weekend, single father is on Sunday featuring Tennant and the Alan Rickman one is on now )

I think Matt is in three new dramas next year.

Doctor Who series will begin in the Utah desert

The sixth series of Doctor Who will open with a two-parter set in the US, the BBC has announced.

Scenes will be filmed in the Utah desert for a story set in the late '60s in which the Doctor, Amy and Rory find themselves on a secret summons to the Oval Office.

The episodes have been written by new series boss Steven Moffat and co-produced with BBC America.

Production starts in Cardiff this month with Matt Smith and Karen Gillen.

Alex Kingston will reprises her role as River Song.

Moffat said: "The Doctor has visited every weird and wonderful planet you can imagine, so he was bound get round to America eventually.

"And of course every Doctor Who fan will be jumping up and down and saying he's been in America before. But not for real, not on location - and not with a story like this one."

It has been announced previously that series six has been split into two blocks, with the first airing on BBC One in spring 2011 and the second block showing in autumn 2011.

Not really he was in that Tardis for an episode :)

Not in the new costume, he only saw the inside when he had obtained the clothes. ;)

Umm hate to make another Geeky point, but he's a timelord and it's a time machine. He could have been visiting the old Tardis at any point in the time stream. We do know that other doctors have visited other tardis before.

Not really Chris, it's either a rip in time or organised by the time lords. But if course as they have just wrote out the 12 regeneration rule anything can happen.

Which means that he could have been ripped through time and ended up on the old Tardis during one of his unseen adventures right?
