I was more interested in the reveals about Zoe's connections to the core of the BSG story.

I'm a little confused by the recent episode....

[spoiler]So, now they are saying that Zoe herself created her VR duplicate?  When did she get so tech smart?  Have they indicated that much before?  I had always thought it was Daniel who had pieced together his virtual daughter in VR to help him with his loss?  Why did they change that??  I'm not quite sure why they decided to do this.  [/spoiler]

Is Ron Moore podcasting about "Caprica" like he did BSG?  I think I need more answers.

Ron Moore's not podcasting but David Eick is. Haven't listened to the newest one since the shows not back here yet but I heard the first half season. As podcasts go they're OK but I think the Galactica ones were better.

Here's how I understood it...

I thought it was pretty clear that Zoe had made her VR duplicate before she died. That was why they wanted to get her and the program to Gemenon for the STO. Zoe was the programmer genius. Daniel found the avatar after her death. He made the avatar of Adama's daughter using Zoe's as a basis.

Hmm, ok that helps Joe.  I think the lag between the first part of the season and the other half didn't help my memory of things.  I still don't think they showed enough of this aspect of Zoe previously.

Yeah, that was only really shown in the first episode of Season 1.
