Yeah but unrealistic lol. But it's fiction and the outside could also be a London telephone box and just out of shot is Tegan and Adric who didn't die because we can just make it up.

Boy I miss the old series.

I only just noticed this but it does look like the 11th Doctor has a change in clothing. As the 10th did with his blue suit and change of ties Matt Smiths Doctor has a new jacket and a new shirt. The shirt in the 5th series was a customised Paul Smith shirt which was dicontinued until recently (you can buy it for £120) but now it looks like a plain white shirt. The jacket is still clasic tweed but judging by the photo i found os a different cut and design.

And for those wanting a replica of the Doctors costume from sereis five then why not head straight to the Paul Smith website, blimey they even sell a jacket and bow tie, thats if you can spare £500 for the lot.

With the TARDIS wardrobe available I guess a change of costume shouldn't be a surprise or a mystery.

Oh no its not a new thing, all the Doctors from the third changed their costumes throughout the series. God knows how many velver jackets Jon Pertwee got through lol

Oh first sightining of river, and a great photo of Sarah Jane and third Doctor companion Jo Grant with our new Doctor.

This was almost enough to convince me to watch The Sarah Jane Adventures, but not quite. The idea of 'more junior' spin-off from what was already a 'junior' show has never quite attracted me.

I must say it was pretty good. the only problem with it was that RTD wrote it and he doesnt have the Matt Smith Dr right. the odd line was pretty good like when he was talking to Jo she said oh look at you, dont you look young and he replies "Jo you look like youhave been baked" That was a fun line.

I agree with you Meds, RTD doesnt write well for Matt smith as this doctor. I think SM writes better for this doctor and Matt plays his writing very well

I saw them and he was fine. There wasn't any noticeable differences in my opinion. I think you have to put it in the show. This isn't the Doctor's show and it's probably a balancing act to have him as a guest without him taking over the show. Sarah and the kids still needed to be the center of the show and to that end, it worked great.
