I looks like the stock is synthetic. That makes for a great all-weather hunting rifle. I still have 2 old 30-06 rifles. A Remington 700, and an old Springfield 1903A1.

The place we go shooting is up on an old logging road about 20 minutes from our house. It's on a companies property that allows access when the gate is open. Yes, we are very fortunate to be able to have firearms.

Yep I think I'll put that 30 06 on my Zombie survival armoury list.......oh wait I live in England, guess I'll settle for the cricket bat and strongly worded letter of complaint, that'll show them pesky zombies /sigh
