TNG's "Measure of a Man" - extended edition

So, for the season 2 TNG Blu-Ray set we are getting a 20 minute more extended edition of the great TNG episode "Measure of a Man." How cool will this be? Maybe they will do some other episodes in the future like this and extend them. New TNG footage we will all get to see for the first time after 25 years! Woo-hoo!!! :metallica:

I am impressed. They are really putting a lot into the production on these Blu-Rays. They could just churn 'em out but they're giving us content. I love it.
I am curious to see what happens with effects heavy episodes like "Best of Both Worlds".

Now I want a 2.5 hr. version of "The Best of Both Worlds" edited all together into one big movie with extra footage! :)

You know, that's pretty much what I said way back when. BOBW was WAAAY better than the last Star Trek movie at the time it came out (ST5) and for a TV show of that era it was very cinematic. If they have extra footage of "Measure" then I'm sure there must be all kinds of stuff to be found!

Hmmm....very interesting news. I'm still on the fence about investing in this series once again but cool stuff like that might entice me. I too would love to see BOBW as a full length movie but also leave the individual episodes on the discs for the purists out there.

I hope the footage is actually integrated into the episode. One of the best of season 2 for sure.
