It was December 28th 2006 that I made my first post on Treks in Sci Fi.  :lamo From that point on, I have really enjoyed this place.  What a great bunch of folks that celebrate each other and don't bash each other.   :) It is a great community.
I have a lot of friends here where I live, but only a couple that understand geeky stuff and my love for it.  Sci Fi is such a cool thing, and hardly anyone relates, until I came here.  You folks are pretty much amazing.  Thanks for all the great discussions and fun.

This is my 1000th post.  So I thought I would post some of my favorite memories over the last year.

When Rico did the special 100 show.  That was great.

The Spock's Brain spoof, what fun!

The special focus on Kirk episode of the podcast.

Figuring out SKYPE.  How cool.

All the different perspectives on Trek

When my wife did the special podcast with me for Rico- that was such a great time.  Amy and I loved sharing. (I just had a wonderful time recording with my wife that day)

Great discussions on the all the new TV shows.

My son Nathan and I spending time together recording Father and Son reviews (the bloopers and behind the scene stuff are so much fun.  I love doing that with him.)

But the best part was the great friends that I have come to enjoy and love to chat with.

You guys and gals are the best!

Congrats on the big 1000 Rick!  So glad you joined us here and how you have gotten your whole family involved as well.  The forum and podcast wouldn't be the same without you.  And thanks for sharing some of your favorite moments.  I have some new things up my sleeve and planned for the future.  So stay tuned.  As they say, the best is yet to come!
