Heading out later this afternoon to fly to New York for work.  Visiting a wheel company that is going to use my chemistry.  I won't be on the forums probably as much the next few days.  Due back late afternoon on Wednesday, the 30th.  Little map below of where I am headed.  Place called New Rochelle.  I'll try and check in each evening hopefully.   :flying

P.S.  At least it's closer than Taiwan!

If you continue up 95 North another 10 miles into CT, you will be in my home town of Greenwich! Don't get too excited about New Rochelle, it's gross. How long will you be there and where are you staying? Will you be able to get into Manhattan at all?

I hope you are having a good time on your trip Rico.  How was your flight?

It was terrible.  Two hour delay taking off, due to weather & air traffic.  Bumpy ride down.  But I'm here.  I have lots of good stories already for an Attic of my Mind.  Talk about more later.

P.S.  Bryan - I doubt I'll be able to get into the city.  Got in late last night and leaving early tomorrow.

That's too bad.  I hate bumpy flights!  Yikes!

I hope the return one is good for you.

I had to spend a few days in Secuacus, NJ a few months ago. Same view from me. I could see Manhattan across the river but damned if where I was was ugly and over-industrialized.

I was in White Plains for 2 months about 10 years ago.   Spent a cold day near Grand Central.  The coolest part was the sidewalks - there were actual indentations in the pavement created by pedestrians.

I may go back for a nice vacation.  Catch a broadway play and spend some money - not hard to do in NYC.
