I thought this would be a fun topic... I was talking to some friends of mine from New York about fast food and they had never heard of some of the ones I was talking about. So I thought I would cool to see what fast food chains are local to you.

Here in So Cal we have:

Carl's Jr
Burger King
McDonald's
Del Taco
Taco Bell
Panda Express
Jack in the Box
In and Out
Wienersnitchel
Arbys
Wendy's
Subway
Quizno
El Pollo Loco
Koo Koo Roo
Shakeys
Pizza Hut
Domino's
Papa Johns
Little Cesar's
KFC
Boston Market
Churches Chicken

Meds

Ok here's mine.

Pizza Hut,
Domino's Pizza,
Papa Johns (my fav pizza place)
Burger King,
Mac D's,
Nando's
Subway (hmmmm got love the italian BNT)
KFC,

And that's about it. We like our quick pub food here in Blighty.

We have many of the same.  This list is not by any means complete.  But these come to mind:

McD's
BKing
Wendy's
White Castle (burgers - local fav)
Subway
Quizno's subs
Tubby's subs
Jimmy John's subs (kind of local I think)
Arby's
Taco Bell
KFC
Churches Chicken
Boston Market (chicken)
Pizza Hut
Dominos
Little Ceasar
Papa Roman's pizza
Jet's Pizza
Dolly's Pizza
Hungry Howie's Pizza
lots of smaller pizza places
(pizza is big here)
China King's
and many other Chinese carry out places

--- out of this list, I do Subway, China King and probably Dominos the most.  Others occasionally.

Well the ones in Quebec where I grew up are more fun with the French influence.

McDonald's (known as McDonald, the slang for it is not Mickey D's but 'MacDo' pronoucned Mac-dough)
Wendy's
Harvey's
KFC (However in Quebec it's known as PFK, Poulet Frit Kentucky which is the direct French translation)
Taco Bell (just came in about 2 years ago)
A&W (also used to be hard to find)
Subway
Mr. Sub
Quizno's (in the last 3 years)
Tim Horton's (required to like it if you are Canadian)

For some reason Quebeckers have a thing for roasted chicken:
St Hubert BBQ
Cote St Luc BBQ
Swiss Chalet
Au Coq

And they also have a thing for greasy fries and 50-70 cent steamed hot dogs:
La Belle Province
Damn...now I need a poutine...

And though I wouldn't consider it fast food, Quebeckers also have a thing for breakfast (opened from 5 am - 3pm serves breakfast the whole time, maybe some small lunch items):
Chez Cora (known in the rest of Canada as Cora's, started in Quebec)
Tutti Frutti (my dad owns one of these)
Eggspectation
Many others...

Damn. Quebec is weird.

I don't eat at all these places. I like the patronizing local restaurants with a nice atmosphere. It's an Austinish area thing to do. We're snobs when it comes to food.

Regional joints:
Taco Cabana
Bill Miller's BBQ
Whataburger
Freddy's
McBee's BBQ
Rudy's BBQ
Free Bird's
Wing Stop
Mamacita's
Taco Bueno
Katz's Deli
Jason's Deli
Schlotzki's Deli
Papa John's Pizza
Thundercloud Subs

All the stuff all of you have:
McDonald's
Subway
Wendy's
Arby's
Burger King
Domino's Pizza
Pizza Hutt
Little Ceasars
Quiznos
KFC
A&W
Church's Fried Chicken
Jack in the Box

Oh, Bryan... you may not eat there, but you've driven past and seen the commercials. :D

Why do I picture Bryan tied up to a chair in a warehouse and Jack Bauer (from "24) next to him forcing him to eat a BK Whopper!  LOL!

Haven't seen "King Arthur's Subs" listed yet.
Home of the Robin Hood, Friar Tuck and Sherwood forest sandwiches.

Maybe limited to AFFC (Americas Favorite Food Corp) services.
