In Nemesis, Data is destroyed yet in "All Good Things"...  :confused

Two options:

A. Data comes back somehow (since he did download his brain into B4).

B. Alternate timeline.

This entry from Wikipedia seems plusable.

As when Spock's katra had been planted in Leonard McCoy's mind at the end of the Wrath of Khan, Data had copied the seeds of his neural net into B-4's positronic matrix not long before his death, giving hope that B-4 may one day have the same capacity for growth that Data enjoyed and keeping Dr. Soong's legacy alive.

"All Good Things..."  just showed one possible future.  Not necessarily the one that would come to be.

Yes Rico.. alternate time lines.. they did that alot on Trek.. in All Good Things we saw what might have happened.. but of course Picard telling everyone what happens changed it forever.. they address at the end of the episode.

Yep.  Just by the mere fact that they fixed the time paradox is a good point.

Alternate timeline or not....When Will becomes a upper echelon admiral I still hope he digs a Galaxy Class outta mothballs and sticks the 3rd warp nacelle on it for his flagship...that was cool.

Don't forget the crazy super phaser.

I've always thought Picard shared his experiences in the future with the crew who decided to totally avoid that future and didn't go down those paths.

You know, they did something similar to that episode in DS9.  They, however, made the Defiant seem REALLY old and out-of-date.  I highly doubt a Galaxy-class ship would even be remotely useful 50 years from then.

But then again, its all a story isn't it.

Part of the story yes but not unheard of in the annals of the US Navy.  Admiral's perogative to pick a ship that is comfortable to him/her personally and go with it.

Interesting little fact there - I'll remember that.

I wonder if the Royal Navy works the same way?

Plus, it looked like Riker's ship looked like it had been retrofitted to heck and back. Doesn't suprise me that ships can be upgraded immensely, even if it is more "economically" viable just to build new ships.

I re-seen All Good Things recently, and I am suprised at how well it holds up as an episode in all these years.
