How sad... poor Tasha.

I always wonder about actors who know they're getting axed from a series.  Do they give a lesser performance out of spite?  Do they overact, hoping to get a critical nod or award?  Do they act more morose or psychotic or lovable than before, moreso than the director really wanted?

I'll have to check out the nitpickers books.  I like noticing things like that.  But, I can never watch a show the same again after knowing more than the show put out.  For example, that BSG "making of"/meet-the-actors special before the last episode.  I didn't want to watch it before the finale because I wanted to preserve the characters as they were in the series, untainted by reality.  Another example, after learning about the wardrobe issues with the tugging down of the shirts, I get distracted every damn time Riker or Picard do it.
