Character History
       
When Zoen was a child, he was the youngest, and he loved his father,Baxx, very much. Baxx doted on him, so Zoen was very hurt when his mother, Valdra, received the correspondence about his father's death at Wolf 359. Because his parents were so young when he was born, their family was just beginning, and they only had two children and one partner, which Zoen felt set him apart from normal Bolian culture. While some children picked on him, most of them just ignored him (but he primarily brought this on himself). Valdra joined another couple and had seven more children, but Zoen would not see them as part of his family. As far as he was concerned, he only had one older brother, Mott.

Zoen refused to learn anything about adel'iin, the Bolian warrior ethic, and has grown his hair out in protest since he was ten years old. Mott is embarrassed by this, and refuses to even call him brother, so Zoen is now alone, with no family. He blames war for ruining his childhood and vows to show the Universe how wrong the taking of another life is, especially for something as transcendent as a personal belief or piece of dirt. He is sure that he can make a difference, and his hard work and activism has annoyed his supervisors enough that they installed him on the starship Tiberius to get him out of their hair.

I really like the character description. I can't wait to see what you do with him. Welcome aboard! I'm sure you'll get along great with Brex and Morgan...They're both Bolians. Brex runs Five Forward and Morgan his the Chief Counselor as well as Brex's father.

I'm not sure he'll get along with other Bolians, at least at first. I have a character arc in mind for him, but it should be subtle. You will only see him react in his articles, but that should inform the character.

If it works, this will be cool.
