Season Two Rough Outline

Several members have expressed the need for an outline. This outline is only posted to help those who need more direction. The section entitled "PROPOSED OUTLINE" is only a suggestion and is completely flexible. Your mission, if you choose to accept it, is to fill in the gaps with great side stories, dialog and descriptions of the scenes outlined. Feel free, at anytime, to write from the perspective of a non-character red shirt, Klingon or Acamarian. We want to know what is happening on their end too. Create a non-character and go to town. *Always PM a member before you write something that will greatly effect their own character. If you're not sure of something, just ask myself or Kenny.

SEASON II: STORY SO FAR (RECAP)

I. Orders received.
  1.   Quinn receives orders to investigate Altair III (lost communication with
        Fed Outpost).
  2.   Near by Klingon ship is sent to assist in the investigation.

II. Investigation/Capture

  1.   Quinn orders Sevryll to form an away team.

  2.   Sevryll selects:
          a. Lt. Peters (chief of Security)
          b. Ensign Johnny Manrique (security officer)
          c. Enoch Iblis Helmsman (*Klingon)
          d. Doctor Peterson requests to join them. Sevryll agrees.

  3.   Away teams from Tiberius and Klingon Battle Cruiser beam to the surface of
        Altair III, location of Federation Outpost.

  4.   Away teams discover massacred civilians.
          a. Civilians were armed.
          b. Civilians were killed in a firefight.
          c. The doctor learns that their wounds are made with outlawed weapons.
          d. Ensign Manrique and Doctor Peterson wander off as they scan for survivors.
          e. Lt. Peters reads bio signs in the west wing of the complex.

  5.   Ensign Manrique and Doctor Peterson are attacked by aggressors
        responsible for the massacre.
          a. The doctor and Ensign are stunned.
          b. Klingon and Tiberius away teams open fire on aggressors.
          c. Aggressors abduct the two federation officers.
          d. Aggressors beam off the surface of Altair III with their hostages.
     
  6.   Meanwhile an unknown vessel attacks the Tiberius.

  7.   Quinn beams Tiberius away team to bridge.

  8.   Battle between Tiberius vessel and unknown vessel is brief.

  9.   Unknown vessel manages to escape.

  10. Doctor and Ensign are imprisoned aboard unknown vessel.

  11. Peterson alters his comm. Badge to allow Tiberius to track him.

  12. Klingons and Tiberius lost their sensor arrays. Tiberius Attempted to track using
        telepathy (telepathy from 1 season).

III. Aggressors/Marauders
  1.   The Aggressors/Marauders are Acamarian Gathers.

  2.   We learn that the Captain of the Klingon Vessel is involved in the
        investigation only because she has taken Blood Oath against the
        leader of the Acamarian Gathers (*Chorgon) who has killed
        her son in a previous attack on another Federation Outpost.

  3.   Doctor realizes he was captured to heal Gathers wounded in their
        attack on Altair III.

  4.   During a surgery in which the Acamarian leader participates, the doctor
        probes the leader/captain for information.

  5.   Doctor learns the Acamarian Gathers were duped into returning to the
        mainstream Acamarian society and are systematically wiped out.

  6.   Acamarians are on their way to a seedy sector where they can recruit
        Mercenaries and sell their contraband (items stolen from the outpost)
        and lay low.

PROPOSED OUTLINE

I. The Pursuit
  1.   Tiberius picks up trail due to remnants of a fading telepathic link between:
        Lt. Commander Sevryll, Counselor Margon and Doctor Peterson.
          a. Link is the result of an artifact discovered in Season 1.
          b. Their vague psychic impressions are followed to a sector of the
              Alpha Quadrant, frequented by criminals (a possible planet).

  2.   Eventually Doctor Peterson’s comm. Badge is detected and the search is
        Narrowed.

  3.   An away team is formed. Team is disguised to aid their undercover investigation.
        Klingons join the search.
          a. Team is made up of Quinn, security/tactical, science/medical personnel and
              the JAG officer Lt. Averik Newol.

II. The Search/Investigation
  1.   K’renth’s Blood Oath is kept secret from the Tiberius throughout the investigation

  2.   Away team learns much regarding the Acamarians from a disenchanted
        Mercenary. There have been many other massacres.

  3.   Avrik builds a case against Chorgan and the Gathers, through the investigation.

III. The Doctor and Ensign Manrique
  1.   Doc learns more about the Acamarians’ plans
          a. Doc realizes Chorgan has gone off the deep end.
          b. Chorgan is bent on revenge against the Federation and the
              "Conservative Acamarians".
          c. He is attempting to purchase weapons and hire mercenaries with the
              looted items he sells. Mercenaries are required because the only
              surviving Gathers are the Gathers who
              are in his crew....they must be supplement in order to succeed.

IV. Escape
  1.   Manrique is forced to join the Gathers. His combat skills are valuable to them.

  2.   Manrique plays along to learn more about their tactics and plans.

  3.   He is involved in several incidents that force him to walk a line between his
        duties as a federation officer and his duty to infiltrate the Gathers.

  4.   Eventually Manrique and a few Gathers run into Lt. Peters (Chief of Security) and
        Ensign Stormshield (security officer).

  5.   They attempt to free Manrique. He fights along side of them. Manrique
        survives and escapes from the Gathers with the security team.

  6.   Manrique leads the Klingon and the Tiberius away teams to the other Gathers.

  7.   A fight issues.

  8.   Chorgon is captured on the surface. Simultaneously a boarding party of
        Klingons and Tiberius crew commandeer the Acamarian Ship. This
        task is accomplished through the use of a device the Tiberius
        Engineers designed that is capable of penetrating the
        Acamarian vessel's shields.
       
  9.   Though wounded, Doctor Peterson is rescued on the surface.

  10. After capture the tension between K’Renth and Chorgan is noticed by Quinn.

  11. Quinn questions K’Renth…he does not obtain the information he wants.

  12. Chorgan later attacks Quinn. Lt. K’Renth satisfies her Blood Oath by killing
        Chorgan.

  13. K’Renth returns to her ship with Choragn’s son (Doctor Peterson’s patient on the
        Gather’s ship). K’Renth adopts him as her own son (he’s 12). Though initially
        bitter, he eventually learns their ways and earns honor and respect as the
        son of a Klingon Warrior. Quinn and K’Renth have a mutual respect
        for each other…a friendship begins...

  14. The Conservative Acamarian Government is confronted by Starfleet
        (The Admiral and Lt. Averick Newol) with the information gathered
         by the  crew of the Tiberius. Repercussions for their crimes
         are set in motion.

        The End?
