Character History
J'dan was sold as a slave to the cardassians during the occupation of Bajor.  He endured years of abuse at the hands of his captors.  He was owned by Gul Dantok, a rather vicious and spiteful Cardassian in charge of security in a small village close to J'dan's home town.  Brex, a Bolian rescued him by buying him in a card game with Gul Dantok on Terrack Nor in Quark's.  J'dan became Brex's employee out of gratitude and followed him around from starship to starship to help run the mess halls and bars that he ran.  Now that Brex is gone, J'dan has vowed to walk in his footsteps and serve on starfleet ships in the entertainment and eating establishments.  He would prefer to be working on the same ship of his deceased friend's father, counselor Margon.  In fact since the death of Brex, J'dan has been working with Margon on a variety of holo projects.
