sci-fi anime

When i finnished watching all my favourite sci-fi shows, i needed to find a new genre. I found sci-fi anime. Its not fairytales for children or stupid series for little girls as i thought. Although it was dificult to find the right animes for myself. Thats when i realized i could build a website for people like me, trying to find the right sci-fi anime. So far there are 10 series which i strongly recommend, can anyone suggest another series?

Appleseed (2004)

Blue Gender (1999)

Cowboy Bebop (1998)

Gundam Seed (2002)

Gundam Seed Destiny (2004)

Heroic Age (2007)

Macross Frontier (2008)

Macross Zero (2002)

Mobile suit Gundam 00 (2007)

Toward the Terra (2007)

I've seen at least some of all of the shows you listed there (except for Toward The Terra), and for the most part, I agree that they were pretty good shows.  Bebop, Macross Frontier, and Gundam 00 definitely belong on the list, the shows are classic.  Seed was cool as well, but I'm not so sure about Seed Destiny... to me, it felt like a half-hearted attempt to milk the success of Seed.  There are a few shows that I'm surprised didn't make your list, starting with-

Neon Genisis Evangelion.  Yeah, I know some folks think it's over-hyped, but I think there is good reason for the fervor of it's fans.  It is probably one of The Best Anime Series EVER. 

Gundam 0079-  Dated animation, but a very solid story.  Plus, it gets props for starting the Gundam Franchise.

08th MS Team-  My favorite of all of the U.C. Gundam OVAs.  Great story and animation, with a gritty "real-world" feel.

Bonen No Xamdou-  Very cool premise, very cool soundtrack, and very cool, retro, Gibli-esque animation.  Probably one of my favorite new Anime shows.
