For me, if you're going to make a 3D movie - take advantage of it.  Most movies I have seen have few impressive 3D scenes but I do
plan to see TS3 in 3D.  I think Pixar will make good use of the technology.

As the article references, theatres can charge another 10-20% more for a ticket and those glasses are probably less than $0.05 to make.

Don't they use different projection units also? I thought it was more than just the cost of the glasses?
