With the upcoming Blu-Ray edition, thought it would be cool to show off some of the deleted scenes from the original trilogy floating around out there.  Here are a few:

Wasn't the Han and Leia scene an alternate take as opposed to a scene that was edited out? For some reason I recall Kersh talking about that scene...

Depends on what you mean by "alternate take."  The dialogue isn't the same as in the finished film obviously.  So I'd call it more a deleted scene.  To me an alternate take is using the same scripted pages, just acted or filmed slightly differently.  In any case, it's cool to see.
