Top 50 Trek episodes

I found myself agreeing with many of the choices in this list (although I think they leave out several TOS episodes I would have put in). Anyway, it's a good resource for picking episodes to watch again - or podcast about.

They must have done this before Enterprise (or did not like it). It is html pages so might have been done a few years ago. Though I do have to ask the question The Game???? I would think that might be more for the bottom of Trek list. But just my opinion :)

aww trouble with tribbles isn't even on the list? i really liked that one.
overall i think they ordered the episodes well. city on the edge forever was pretty good.

Interesting list.. I think he had a lot of great Trek episodes... just wouldn't have put them in that order.

Yeah, like I said above it's not necessarily my picks or order, but they did get some good ones in there. If anyone else stumbles on any other "Best of Trek" episode listings, post the links here.

Just checked out Rico's find and have to disagree but it is subjective. I love the best of both worlds, the best episodes of any Sci-fi series in my opinion.

Balance of Terror is #38? No Doomsday Machine? How could they not be on this list?

Yeah, it should be on any list of great Trek/ Problem is they were trying to pull from all the shows, though the list is way TNG heavy. I had a hard time arguing the choices though.

This list loses all credibility by giving "Trials and Tribbleations" the number two spot and not even listing the original series episode that show was based on in the top 50. Ridiculous.

and "Arena" didn't make the top 50? That episode is what made me fall in love with Trek as a kid.
Give me a break please.

Though I wouldn't put "Trials and Tribbleations" as #2 it was an amazing technological feat at the time.

Of course, I loved that episode alot, probably my favorite DS9 ep of them all, but how could you put it above the original?
