Wow I am blown away, just finished watching the finale.  Tyrol was foreshadowed all through the series, but Tigh was a total shock.  This last two part series was the best TV I can remember seeing ever.  Using All Along the Watchtower was an awesome addition, this sitar version was creepy and surreal, but I can't help thinking how much cooler the Bob Dylan version would have been if they had used it instead.  I can't believe we have to wait so long for the story to continue.  I haven't felt this much yearning for a continuation of a story since I was kid seeing Empire Strikes Back for the first time.

Wow is right.  What a show.  I too enjoyed the music.. that was way cool, it added a lot.

I don't like the idea of waiting so long for more.  But, .... "Patience Grasshopper"

The trial was interesting.  Right out of "The Practice"

The Cylon reveal.  Hmmmm.  I don't know how to feel about that.  Ty?  Come on now.  Let's all make RRRRRR's like a pirate.

Great show tonight.  wow.

I have been and always will be, your friend.

YAY!!! :cheering I was right (I know I wasn't the only one who said this) about the people who heard the music being the final five cylons. Chief was a shock I didn't expect that. They kept saying the final five would be revealed tonight but we only got four. I kept waiting for the fifth one to show up when the four were standing there... guess they have to keep some secrets.. unless the reappearance of Starbuck makes her the fifth Cylon. I have to say that I wasn't too impressed with the first 45 minutes. It wasn't bad but it was just okay, I knew Baltar was going to get off. And I still don't like Lee. But the last fifteen minutes just after their jump.. WOW. Now we wait till next year.

STARBUK IS ALIVE OMG!!!!!!! Rico you are 100% correct she is leading them to earth..is it sencered cause i herd Frakk and once the edit was horrid (it said fufrakk) and whats with that song at one point it souned like Mr. Roboto so anyway what is the song?

First - loved the finale.  Second - I don't think they are Cylons.  Just because they are hearing weird music they are Cylons?  Nope - not buying it.  I might be in denial but it really doesn't make much sense.  Isn't interesting that the four that fought the most against the Cylons on New Caprica are now suppose to be Cylons?  So - I think either they were implanted or brainwashed or something.  But I'm not believing they are Cylons.

I also was SO HAPPY to see Starbuck!  I also don't think she is a Cylon either.  And it makes sense that she will lead them to Earth.  She got the arrow, she drew the picture, etc.  It adds up.

Loved it when Lee geared up and jumped back in his Viper.  Very cool.  I like him even more now after the trial.  He has principles and stands by them.  Right or wrong, you have to admire that.

All in all a great finale.  :)   :cylon

I am most definitely in Rico's corner as well.  I absolutely do not buy that those four are cylons....to me it just doesn't feel right.  If they are I hope there is some damn good writing next season to flesh out the hows and whys because right now I just don't see it.  I think they are desstined for something bigger but Cylons...no.

I liked some of the music but once the guy started to actually sing the song "All Along the Watchtower"....I think I let loose with an audible "UGHHHHH"...what a HORRIBLE take on that song...but this come from a fan of Jimi Hendrix's version.  The rest of the music was cool.  Also...how odd for the 4 to be hearing an earth song....a well known earth song at that.  There has to be more to that as well.

The final shot of the "extreme zoom out" then back in to earth was awesome.....The rest of the year is gonna be so hard.

Man was that a great episode or what?!  I am gonna have to watch it again to see if I missed anything....

Are we thinking that Starbuck is the fifth one or is it Rozlyn?  Remember that she had that semi-fainting thing going on right when they arrived and the power started failing.  My first thought was that if she was a Cylon, perhaps her systems were affected by the power dampening field for a while until she adapted to it.  And was there any special significance to where the other four ended up meeting?  Was that area better shielded from the dampening field?

I could see either Rozlyn or Starhuck being the fifth...

One other thought: are we SURE that the final five are actually Cylons?  It appears to me that the Cylons themselves do not know much about the final five.  Maybe the final five are a human-Cylon hybrid that can breed and do not share the physiology of the current Cylons.

What does everyone think?

I'm going with you on this one:

I don't like the whole "we're all sleeper agents".  After all how often does a moment of clarity like that on the show turn out to be misunderstood?  It's not that simple.

Besides, how can Tigh be a toaster after that speech?!?  OMG that ROXXX!!!!111!!eleventy!!!!  :)

I sure hope Tigh and the rest aren't Cylons.  I think that would be a major cop out.  I'm not sure they are not something different - but I don't think they are simple skin-jobs.

Darkmolerman

Well that music was weird maybe it was in there heads to mess them and them only, And  Rozlyn is probebly a Cylon cause she was in the oprea house and...The President guy may be half-cylon.

I also have another theroy on the music...The other cylons herd it but they knew what it was so they ignored it

I still don't see the 4 as the same type of Cylons as all the rest.

Well, regardless of who is what, based on last nights finale, we are in for one heck of a ride.

Although, in the little blurb at the bottom of the article, the guy says "The producers had better make the decision to end "Galactica" in these final 22 hours, because given the show's low ratings, Sci Fi Channel isn't going to give them more episodes"

I wasnt aware it was getting low ratings. It amazes me that shows the quality of Deadwood and Rome are gone after 2 or 3 seasons, and BSG would get low ratings. What are people watching, reality crap and Idol?
