I too was a big fan of the King's Quest series. It was maddening trying to come up with the right things to say. I also hated the 3rd one trying to walk down the mountain. I was constantly saving because I was constantly dying. Couldn't see around the big rock. Then if I didn't get the spells quite right, I would turn into a cat or a fly or something else would happen. Then when I finally finished that game and played King's Quest IV, I couldn't figure out the whole deal with the guy in the cabin. He always got me. So years later I downloaded the game on my laptop and got some "help" online. My dad used to play Hero's Quest and I used to watch him play that. The Sierra games were always fun. In college I played one of the Phantasmagoria games with the couple in the castle. That was freaky!

I am another that played Leisure Suit Larry when I was way too young :)

SimCity! I've had that in various flavours I think and always got hooked on it.

A version is still on my iPhone to this day.

I'd love your thoughts! I plan on covering the series in general with a bit more special attention paid to SC2000.
