I liked this recent episode. Got to catch our breath a little.  Not sure who I feel sorry for the most at this point. Only one more to go! Oh, Todd is such a creepy dude!

Bryancd

Whew!
Clearly this is going to end bad for everybody, they are pulling no punches. I can't believ the executed that Mom! I think I see the ending as Walt and Jesse wipe out the Nazi gang, they have made that group so horrible it feels like they are setting us up for that, and Walt dies, maybe Jesse get's to live.
Rico

I might need CPR after the final episode next week. :)
The scene with Walt Jr. on the phone was more heartbreaking for me than Hank's death the week before.  If you care at all about Walter (even in spite of all he's done) you can't help but feel so horrible at hearing his son say those things to him.  I agree with above comments in that I'm getting a sense that Jesse will make it out ok in the end.
I'm thinking Walt will head back home, rescue Jesse and together, shoot Jesse's captors.

Bryancd

I say Walt dies killing the Nazi's and Jesse talks off with the kid and the money.

Rico

Close, but....
I think Walt will kill himself with the ricin.
I think you are right Rico.
This was just the episode we needed to prepare for the finale, caught us up to the flash forwards, gave in some great character moments with Walt (I loved Robert Forster as the "vacuum guy". 10,000 bucks to play cards, I'll take it. I also loved how Walt was going to let himself be arrested until he saw his old buds from Gray Matter saying he didn't really have much to do with starting the company, and that superior Heisenberg guy came back. Awesome. Can't wait for next week. Then I'll be sad.
I'm putting my prediction for the last show in a hermetically sealed mayo jar.

Rico

Really a good, solid final episode.  This is the way to end a series (yeah I'm looking at you "Lost" writers).  Just an amazing show and journey.  Thanks Vince Gilligan!

Bryancd

It was good, very good. Not AMAZING but Jamie and I liked what we got. She would have preferred a little more closure as to the fate of Jesse as he has always been her favorite.

I'm putting my prediction for the last show in a hermetically sealed mayo jar.

And the prediction was accurate -- couldn't have ended any other way.

Probably one the top 10 best shows ever on TV.

ChrisMC

Top FIVE! I haven't felt that way after a show was over in a LONG time. Maybe TNG...but that isn't the same because there was a movie coming 6 months down the road. Wonderful wrap up, poetic ending, it was all truthful to the characters' journeys. Nicely done.
