Walt cooked up ricin to kill Tuco back in S2, then made some to kill Gus and it fit into a cigarette. He made Jesse think hat he had left the cigarette where his girlfriend's boy could find it, because Brock was poisoned, but not by ricin he finds out, that's that shot of the plant on Walt's pool deck....Jesse panics and thinks some innocent person could find it. But what happened was Huell lifted it from him in Saul's office, and looking at the cigs after he realizes his weed is gone makes him realize what happened to the ricin...and starts putting shit together.
Huell lift the pocket of cigarette from Jesse

Didn't you binge watch this show recently Bryan?  :)
The ricin cigarette Walt made to try to get Jesse to poison Gus Fring (also he did it earlier too for Tuco).  Basically this alerts Jesse to Walt's ability with poisoning and chemistry.  Which leads Jesse to the correct assumption that Walt poisoned Brock (the little boy) even though the boy was poisoned by a plant Walt had - not by ricin.  Remember, Walt used the poisoning of Brock to pull Jesse back in to his side and against Gus, etc.
Easy - right?

That's right. We did binge watch it but finished over a year ago!

Any everything thing in my spoiler box happened even longer back in time for those of us who watch the show the old fashioned way - as it airs.  :)

And also realize...
at the beginning of the second half of this season a few weeks ago, when we were in the (relatively near?) future and Walter was at his abandoned house scaring the neighbors, the purpose of that visit was to retrieve the Ricin cigarette from the electrical outlet where it was hidden.
Yep.  My prediction...
Walt went back to get the ricin at the house to use it on himself.
I was thinking that as well...

Vince Gilligan has said that Walt will have a personal victory at the end of all of this. This week, with the video, I was like...Walt is a puecevifvshot! Holy cow! But somehow, I am still on his side .

Keep in mind his 'real' goal all along was to simply provide for his family.  He never expected to survive the cancer.

We're watching this season - Walt is your basic psychopath.  After what Walt did to his own brother-in-law - he would sell out his own family if it meant his survival.  He's a ticking time-bomb.

Rico

Walt is far from being a psychopath.  He has done everything from the start for his family - at least in his mind.  Another great episode this week.  I like the way these last episodes are playing out.

Skinny Pete and Badger should do a podcast on Babylon 5.
