well after seeing Ice road truckers and ice pilots i can vouch for the views in Canada, mind you i think them blokes are nuts in the programs lol. plus i have friends in Toronto and they often say how beautiful the North is.

My father used to work for a regional airline called Nordair that exclusively flew up north, lots of very surreal scenery up there. Actually some of the planes they fly in Ice Pilots NWT (if you guys have that show) were purchased from Nordair when it went out of business in the 80's.

Yeah, some of those conditions they have to drive in are pretty extreme. I live in Canada, and somewhat more northern, but still far away from what is seen in those shows. They took some of the Ice Road Truckers for an off shoot of the show, and had them driving roads in India, now those are some really dangerous driving conditions.

stonut

Seeing them hanging on to every nook and cranny on the trains in India is bad enough, so if the commonwealth games village was anything to go by I think I'd take my chances on the ice.

Do you mean Lisa Kelly or Brown? Cause I liked Lisa a lot in the IRT: Deadliest Roads series where they hauled in India. All the folks there kept making a big deal about her being a woman driver, not to mention a very pretty woman driver. Fun shows.

stonut

Lisa is very nice and so keen to be taken seriously, fair play to her.But Jack is the dude they guy is so layed back he is horizontal!.

Hmmm - If you where in the Navy Reserves, than a US Postal Carrier would have a whole new meaning and would be an awesome way to deliver the mail!

The Air Force is very cool, hope you still get a chance to fly.
