Nice Josh, hey, do you have a site offering those? How much to you charge and such?

Sure do. The website is www.oboystudios.com, and on it there's a link to my etsy store.. These pieces or farely cheap, but real hand-pressed woodblock prints.

Very nice stuff Josh, very impressed!

Agreed!  What does "I am the new Owl" mean?  Or is that rude asking an artist to explain their creation?

Haha, to some artists it may be rude. But in this case, it's almost an inside joke, so I'll explain.  I get into selling art at a few craft/creative products fares and whatnot, and for the last few years, crafters and designers have been pasting or embroidering an owl on everything from handbags to stockings to urns and selling them for it.  This piece is a poke at the trend.

In "real life", I'm an aerospace engineer contractor for NASA satellite operations. In my offline fandom life, I run a local Star Trek fan group. I'm also a paranormal investigator. And either of those is much more interesting than what I do to pay the bills. Really.

Wow, I would think the opposite!

I used to be in a local fan club, I'd love to again, it was a cool experience.

Where is "local"? My group is part of an international Trek group. I might be able to help hook you up with something. :)

Good thread!

I'm a former architect turned self employed artist. Oil painting (somewhere between classical and contemporary realism, I guess you could say): still life, figure, landscape...stuff like that. My website: http://davidcheifetz.com/
