Well, I'm somewhat anti-hype. Everyone is talking about THE NEW INTERNET THING? My instincts tell me to run off in a different direction!

Unless... unless I'm convinced it is something very useful, or very beautiful or very funny.

Wil Wheaton didn't convince me to try twitter. LeVar Burton didn't. Neither did Brent Spiner. And that's almost half of the TNG cast!

But you did, so there I am:
@cos_mon_aut
And no regrets so far! :)

It was frankly a lot more fun and cooler before all the celebs decided to hop on to it.  I'm expecting a "new thing" to come along any day that will pull the geeks to it from Twitter.  Myspace --->  Facebook --->  Twitter --->  next??

Ah Stephen fry, he's always tweeting, he's a mad gadget fan, in fact he was the second person to own a mac (in the UK) after the late Douglas Adams. There is a new thing coming out in which you can audio tweet.

So far when it comes to my hometown everyone is still stuck in Facebook. You guys are my only friends on Twitter. I ain't got one person I'm following from Colfax (all my high school friends from last year) and as far as I know I'm the only person who is using twitter from Colfax.

"From orbit: Getting more accustomed to living in space today and getting ready for our big rendezvous with hubble"
So out of place on Twitter between "walking the dog", "going to lunch", "working long" and "check my latest podcast/blog/thing".
Gives me an odd feeling.
