Free Hugs

I don't know if any of you have ever seen the Free Hugs campaign website and the story of how one guy (Juan Mann) can take a simple concept and make it a worlwide phenomena. However, for those of you who have not you should view these vids and visit the webpage. If they don't move you then all I can say is you have a "hard heart" and you need someone to give you a free hug you badly! Oh and the music is really good too! And if you enjoy these there are many more Free Hugs vidoes on You Tube from all over the world.

Do you have a favorite Kenny? The one from Hollywood is pretty bizarre. I really like the South Korean one.

hmmm Brazil was cool, Scotland was alot of fun but there is nothing like the original.

Wow, that is truely awsome. That would take guts and courage to do something like that. I can't believe that could be banned though....was that in America? because that would be infringing on his rights. But yea, that is very awesome. I would support that anyday.

I LOVE these videos too, they are so awesome. It's good that he is holding a sign, and that he allows people to approach him first.

From a woman's prospective, I have to admit, if a strange man approached me for "a hug", and he happened to touched me before I accepted, I'd probably knee him. Inviting hugs is much safer for him. :-[

I think I would give him a hug...I hope I would...but then I've seen the videos online. If you hadn't seen this video on Youtube, set to stirring pull at your heart strings rock music, would you hug him? Or would you think he was a crazy guy? Be honest.

That's a great question Jen.. like you I have seen all the videos and would hug him/her. But if I didn't see the video. I don't know.. I would hope I would but then again I'm not sure. It's one of those things that you have to be in the moment... I hug all my friends and family when I see them so I'm not apposed to hugging but a complete stranger that is on the street..... yes I would.

I'd never heard of this until now. What a great idea :)

Seeing things like this gives me hope that humanity can some day realize the future envisioned by Gene Rodenberry.
