It gets better ratings.  That equals more votes.  I love Battlestar but Atlantis is good as well.

Although I enjoy Battlestar and think it is an excellent drama I probably would have voted for Stargate as I think it's more fun, and adventurous, and even sometimes creepy. Most of the other categories I could care less about.

I personally voted for Doctor Who myself.  I was glad to see that "Moonlight" won favorite new drama...We love that show.  Other than that I can't say much for people's taste in other categories.

Yes (Private Eye actually)and it is really good.  A similar but different take on vampires if that makes any sense.  highly recommend it.
