I agree with Risky. PCs are used by the business world and it cascaded from there into being used the most.

yeah, i saw that. thats the one where the guy takes out the heat sync and the cpu explodes like 50 times, right?
Star Trek Will Rise Again

yup omg that was funny. It popped 5 ft in the air that processor. I like it when the processor poped around the whole cpu then burst out.

Woa guys...Chill out now. :boxing  Lets all be friends here. ;D  PC's are good...and Macs are good...can't we all just get along? lol

Here's why Macs don't open EXE files...We don't want your PC  viruses. EXE files open automatically...And the virus gets out and does a booigie dance all over an unprotected computer. :P  I myself, have never had an issue opening files on my Macs. Macs are pretty well incorporated into my industry.

I do use PCs to play games on. Unfortunately, Steve Jobs just isn't interested in making the Mac a gaming computer, which is a shame in my opinon. I think more people might buy them if they could do more gaming on them.  Oh, and you can right click on a mouse, on a Mac...I have a Logitech Mouse on my G4 at home, I right click all the time. I use a single click Mac Mouse at work...it works just fine for me too. :)

And the only reason more people own PCs than Macs is simply a marketing issue. You cram a bunch of PCs down the public's throat for 20+ years and they'll start to belive the propaganda: "PCs are better"...They're not better, they're just less expensive and more plentiful. Macs are nice machines too. Try them out for a few days.   ;D

And I don't hate PCs...Really. I like both. Peace my friends.  ;)

Good point. Games aside Macs are better for everyday use.

Hi Picard...

The title of the thread you started was "Mac vs. PCs", I didn't read anything about Mac OS verses Windows in the posts, so I thought it was a debate about the two platforms. I hope you didn't take the tone of my post to be anything but joking.  I'm a pretty sarcastic, I hope I didn't sound angry...'cause I wasn't.

I have this debate often with our IT guys at work all the time. We always love to talk to them about stuff like this. I wasn't looking to ruffle feathers, honest.

So...I noticed.   ;)

But I have to say for the record, that Picard is my favorite captain. I think its his demenor more than anything, but a lot of geek girls like him best.
