Nice job Rico.. too bad she's no longer a member of the crew.

Don't count her out quite yet.  ;)

Good news! K'arath always had soft spot in his heart for her. :)

Hummm... Do I detect a possible love triangle?  LOL
Nice pic Rico. Very Glam.  Which ps filter did you use for the image? I recognize it but don't use it very often. Is it the watercolor one?

I think I used Paint Dabs or Paint Dubs.  Something like that.  Can't recall the exact name.  I'm at work now and don't have Photoshop here.  I'm a BIG novice with Photoshop, but I am forcing myself to use it more lately.  I tend to use Paint Shop Pro a lot because it's quick and simple.  But Photoshop just has so much cool stuff you can do with it.

By the way two cheap Photoshop replacements are Gimp and Pixel.  I haven't used either very much yet, but Google them to learn more.

I think K'arath could take Zremm... ;)

Though I really wanted to start right away, I've been so busy with life, work, the RPG and podcasts I haven't had a chance to do anymore paintings. Thankfully, there was a lull at work this week which allowed me to work on Zremm on my lunch breaks... hopefully I'll have time to finish the portrait in the next few days. Rico, I found another picture of the same ST The Experience actor, posing in a slightly more flattering position. The highlights and contrasts on his skin are more dramatic. I think you'll like this pose better.

Sounds great Jen.  And no rush.  I know how busy things can be sometimes.

Jen

I'm still plugging away at it Rico. I'm finding it difficult to make a blue Skinned Andorian realistic... GO FIGURE. :D

I'm giving this painting a lot of attention, trying to get it right. I'll have it up soon...

Again - take your time.  I know those pesky aliens can be tricky!  ;)

Jen

OK, finally finished Zremm. Wow...he was tough. I decided to use  several reference pics to get him right. I did have a pic that Rico sent and I used that as a basis, but because he was a ST The Experience Andorian, I thought I should make him look a little more authentic. I altered his hair, forehead and skin color to be more like the Andorians we see on Enterprise. I'll post two pics so you can see the the reference pics and the work in progress. Hope you like it Rico.

I'll be doing the rest of the portraits in the order I received the requests. Margon was next, but I need a break from blue aliens... So since Eric sent me his request after Rico, I'll paint K'Tan's portrait next.

OMG  :jawdrop  they get better and better as you do these.. this one is AWESOME... kind of looks like Garek from DS9 if he was an Andorian :)

Jen

Thanks... Yeah, I sort of rushed Sevryll's portrait. I'll probably revisit she and D'Callan. Maybe in two separate scenes or something later on.

Thanks for the complement. Garek huh? That's interesting. :)
