FIrst off...if this is being discussed elsewhere, feel free to lock or merge. I couldn't find it anywhere else and it's late & I'm tired.

Secondly, props to Angela and Jen....great podcast. You ladies are fun to listen to. I love it when Rico plays you two singin the theme to "Enterprise". I laugh at y'all laughing more then anything else.

I was listening today to your Skypecast w/ Rico, Kenny and Rick. Another great podcast. I just wanted to say that Angela's theory about "Adam and Eve" from the play was awesome!!!! I can absolutely see that happening at the end of the series. It is by far the best theory that makes the most sense. Plus I think it would be awesome if a member of our little sci-fi community here figured out the ending of BSG. When I heard it I just thought...."Holy crap, I think she may have it nailed right on the head" It makes perfect sense.

Anyway, just wanted to say that. I am anxiously awaiting the next podcast......Cya

Another episode is going up tonight. We're dubbing it a "Mini skirt episode" because it's so short. Angela is going to have a baby any day now, so I will be flying solo or sharing the mic with a guest host or two. Send me some mp3 comments so I can play them on the podcast. And if you can, toss a rating up on iTunes for us. Thanks again to Rico for helping us get off the ground. We're glad we have friends like you guys to help propel us along. :)

Hi guys. Before I began replying to this thread, I OK'ed this topic with Rico because I didn't want to to step on his toes. This is his forum and I wanted to let him know that I understood that. He was gracious as always and replied, "we're all friends here", and that it was OK with him. Just wanted to make sure you all knew I'm not trying to steal the spot light.. ;)

That said. If you listen to our show, we're looking for some audio clips from listeners.
Angela and I are going to record two episodes this weekend via Skype. She's about to go on maternity leave (at work and on the podcast) and we're trying to stock up on a few "Angela and Jen" episodes before she goes on hiatus. One of our episodes will be on "Geeky Encounters". We will be talking about stars we've met who have some connection with our favorite TV show (TNG)... but we'd love to get some audio comments from any of you who have also met famous people from movies, books, anything.... Tell us your crazy stories and we'll play the clips on the show.

I won't post that show for at least a week so you have time if you want to record something.We'd love to get some mail or audio clips on BSG or comments on our show from those of you who enjoy it. Send them to girlygeeks@gmail.com

Thanks for getting back to me about download instructions, by the way Jen. I must be exceptionally techno-handicapped, however; I couldn't figure out how to make it work. I can download the mp3 files from the archive just fine, but I can't get them through my subscription. The new episodes show up in my bookmark, but I can't figure out how to download them. I guess it's time to rejoin the itunes army...

I'm working on one, but the kid is awake and that makes a poor time to record. I do have a nice story about meeting someone from TNG that was fun.

Great. The "geeky encounters" can be from any genre though. Look forward to hearing it.

We put up a new episode up today: BSG talk and review/discussion on TNG episode: "Time's Arrow"... Angela's favoritest Trek episode ever. :)
We're recording "Geeky Encounters" tomorrow, provided Angela doesn't go into labor (she's past her due date now). Send us your MP3's of your Geeky Celebrity encounters soon. Already have two from Hawkeye Meds, Rico and a few emails from Institches and Darth Gaos. Would love to hear from you too!

Thanks everyone for the well wishes. Angela and her husband Jim are adjusting to having a baby in the house which equals very little sleep. She hasn't had much of an opportunity to read the emails, but I told her about them and she was very thankful. She's still recovering so it may be a while before she's back on the show... She or Jim will be putting up our last episode soon (Geeky Celebrety Encounters). And look for pictures of Russell James (her new baby) on our gallery soon.

I finished listening to the last 4 podcasts, I was a bit behind on my podcasts, so happy to get caught up. You two are doing a great job, and have great chemistry between you two. Looking forward to the next one. Your discussion on BSG gives me a lot to think about, and some things I never thought about. Great Job
