Is it an AIF file? I can handle that, I'm on a Mac most of the time and convert it to WAV for my PC laptop. Send it in. :) I just talked to Angela and she thinks she fixed the problem in post. So, I'm going to go listen to the files and see if they're any better. There were some funny exchanges that we just don't want to lose and could never duplicate. So, if I don't re-record today, I may just do an additional episode for the Anomaly Cue. :) Maybe we'll record another Buffy or Firefly episode. :)

A new episode is up in the Anomaly feed: "Anomaly Of Lord Of The Rings, Fellowship Of the Ring". We had some technical difficulties with my microphone that day, but we decided in the end not to rerecord because we could never duplicate the conversation and we were very happy with it aside from the muffled sound of my voice. I tried to fix it in post, so it is easy to listen to...just not perfect quality.

The next mini skirt cast will be an interview with Dany Pepin, the former co-host of Star Wars En Direct and writer/director/producer of the upcoming Star Wars audio drama: "Star Wars In The Shadows". I'll be playing one scene from the first part as a teaser.

Meds and I both have roles in this audio drama. I'm playing the part of "Guri". http://starwars.wikia.com/wiki/Guri

Meds is playing the role of an imperial officer and does a mighty fine job if I do say so myself. ;)

I'm glad the mic didn't work properly. Otherwise the "you shall love me and despair" line would have robbed me of my free will and made me an eternal slave of Jen.
And that's just me, wonder what it would have done to the guys... ;)

The technical difficulties didn't bother me, no reason to re-record. Loved the episode, the time flew by! Also good listener comments, I liked the one about the lack of female characters and didn't even notice Kennys comment was long. Was it?!?

So, I'm eager to hear more about the SW audio drama. Seems this pool of voice talents is soon to be heard everywhere on the web! :)

Voted for various topics for the next podcast, although the book would interest me, too. Nothing against ST or Firefly, but I'd like to hear more about stuff I don't know much about, like the Ren Fest or the Twilight episode. :)

I'm glad you liked it Katrin! Thank you for listening, and thanks for the feedback. I hope your topic wins...I like to debate Angela, even if I do agree with her. :D I'm setting up the interview with Dany this week and he already sent me the scene that I appear in so that I can mix it into the show. I've talked to Nathan P. Butler and he will be working on a EU background segment on the characters of Guri and Xizor. It should be a different spin on our Miniskirt casts, but I hope to do this more often for people doing audio dramas. Radio dramas were a dying art that the web and podcasting seems to have revived. I want to promote it as much as I can. :)

Ha ha it's ok? No i meant Tolkien, he lived in my home city for many years and i'm rather proud of that. I've stood outside his house, played in Moseley bog which was the inspiration for the forests and tree beard, the towers in Erdington still stand and i went to the mill which inspired the shire only last year. :-)
