Summer Vacation

Are you planning on going on vacation this summer?  If so, where are you headed?

How many weeks do you get?

Yes....and I cannot wait!  We are taking the family to Lincol City, Oregon in July.  We love the coast and try to go every year.  This one will be different because we will be taking the 2 year old for the first time.  We cannot wait to see her reaction to the beach/ocean.  We are renting a house on the beach for a week.....Man July cannot come soon enough.

We're headed to Yakima for Vacation in July.  Got a cabin for a week.  That should be good.  I'm looking forward to a break.

I'm flying to Aruba for my honeymoon in 35 days time (not that i'm counting). Ah sun, beach, sea, free drinks. What more can a Englishman want. Oh a flag maybe (Eddie Izzard ha ha)

We plan of having one of our other kids up for a month and then sitting down and editing her novel and mine over July and get them to our respective agents. After that's done, we can plan real vacations.

A week long road trip to Colorado over Labor Day with the dogs and our bike's!

We're going up to Mont Tremblant for a long weekend for our first anniversary in June. Then, since my parents are both turning 60 this year they're taking me, my wife, my brother, his wife and my nephew on an eastern Caribbean cruise in August.

Was toying with hitting Vegas in August.  I tend to take mainly long weekends and spread out my vacation days.

I am hoping I can take some summer vacation, Vegas sounds intriguing for trek. My wife and I might take a trip down to Washington State to Ricks part of the world as well. I am hoping I get some summer holidays, but my gut tells me I will be stuck with November type holidays due to lack of staff where I work.

"Summer Vacation"???  What is this you speak of?? I know of a thing called Summer, but not "vacation" on the end of it.  ;)

I'm not sure where I'm going this summer.  Work work work is sadly what will probably happen.  But if I get lucky and get a car, I might be taking a trip up to Washington to visit my friend.  Or two friends. :) 

Who knows, the future is ever as murky as ever.

Where bouts does your family go?  Yakima is not necessarily known as one of the hot vacation spots in Wa so I was curious.  Our family drove from Spokane to Yakima about a year ago for a friends wedding.  They live in the Wapato area which is pretty, but I am not sure we would vacation there.  Long story short I was simply wondering about the are your family got the cabin in.

We do KOA's.  They have a camping cabin, a pool and a little lake.  Free wireless internet and a little store.  I just lounge around, play my guitar, challenge my wife to a good game of scrabble and read some newspapers.  Might go to a movie or two.
