I'm reading the latest SW EU novel "Millenium Falcon" It's very good!

Picked it up last week; it's on my "To Read" pile.  Right now, I'm reading Hellboy: The Lost Army.  Rico's Samaritan Replica kinda got me interested in returning to the HB universe.  Good book so far.

It's been so long since I have been able to sit and read. My 4 year old is getting a bit less clingy than in the past, so I can read while he plays with toys.

So, I am currently reading The Computers of Star Trek by Lois Gresh and Robert Weinberg.
Good reading, but I am beginning to see why I like to invoke 'suspension of disbelief' when I watch movies or TV. Reality is kinda restrictive and occasionally boring. I like sound in space and other things like that :-)

I just bought the latest P.D. James mystery novel called "The Private Patient". If you like mysteries in the least and have never read a P.D. James novel then I recommend that you do. Her main character is a detective for the New Scotland Yard named Adam Dalgliesh and he is a very well written and interesting character. In fact all her characters are well written and interesting. I love a good mystery novel and one of the things that keep me coming back to P.D. James's novels is that I can never figure out who did it until the end. Almost every other mystery writer I can tell you who did it by about halfway but not her books. Take a chance and read her. You won't be disappointed!

Decided to get back into reading with a very easy read--"Interview with a Vampire."  Sure it's considered a guilty pleasure book by my co-workers and I've been told to watch the movie first, but I'm halfway to finishing the thing so I might as well wait. ;)

Great book from a great series.  And the series gets better as it progresses (except Memnoch The Devil; that one was kind of weak).  If you like Anne Rice, you ought to check out the Mayfair Witch books also (Witching Hour, etc).  They take place in the same world as her Vampire books, and feature some character cross-overs.

"Tales of the Bounty Hunters" an older Star Wars EU book.

I like those 'tales of/tales from" books. I'm halfway through The Children of the Jedi for the SWAN book club.

Trying to get through 'Brideshead Revisited', it's apparently one of those books you should have read but nothing really happens in it. It's based around an era of people who don't exist any more so it makes it a bit difficult to really identify with the characters (1920s high upper class). I might give up and go read 'Rendezvous with Rama' or something....
This question has baffled mankind for all eternity... why don't sheep shrink in the rain?

I'll definitely have to check those out one day.  I'm a big fan of cross-overs, so I'm definitely putting the Mayfair Witch books on my "to read" list.

And I'll keep my eye out for Pandora, Kenny.

I'm reading "Darth Bane: Path of Destruction". This is an AWESOME Star Wars EU book. I can't beleive I waited so long to read it. I can barely put it down. Very well-written.

About halfway through, so far it is HIGHLY recommended it you are a Star Wars fan. Very little knowledge of previous Star Wars EU is needed to know what's going on.

I loved that novel too Billybob. :)

I'm currently reading Star Trek The Next Generation: Death In Winter by Michael Jan Friedman. I'm really enjoying it so far. I highly recommend it.
