Yep - the show is just about perfect right now.  It's also so sad to see the Peter and Olivia thing now after how close he got to her double.

P.S.  I still need to see that "Charlie Jade" tv series.

Only really big difference now between Charlie Jade and Fringe is Fringe is still on. It's really frustrating getting to the finale of Charlie Jade and knowing there's no more episodes. I'm so glad Fringe is still going and can't wait to see where it's gonna be going.

Just saw the most recent episode last night!  How awesome!!!  So cool to see the Observer kick some ass.  I'm certain it was not a coincidence that Christopher Lloyd's son time traveled from 1985 to visit him.  Did anyone notice any other Back to the Future references in this episode?

Yep Joby...pretty cool. I love Christopher Lloyd.

I am realy liking Fringe and this episode was very good.  I hope that Peter and
Olivia figure out how to get passed the barrier that the alternate has placed in their relationship.

I was pleased to see Christopher Lloyd on the show.  He was perfectly cast as the Dad who lost his boy.  The story was very engaging.

I thought that the asthmatic woman was the girl that did not catch the firefly...

Rick - I thought that woman also was the little girl that didn't catch the firefly too.

Fringe btw got better ratings by moving to Friday nights so this may keep it out of the to-be-killed territory.

Thursday night was a killer night to be on for it.  Hopefully Friday will continue to do well for it.

The little girl who didn't caught the firefly was named Madison and the asthmatic girl in the episode was named Victoria I think. So they aren't the same I'm pretty sure.

Good episode this past week.  Cool to see the Machine.  Getting more and more interesting.

I thought it was doing well, didn't realize the show was in danger of cancellation.

I liked the latest episode, but:
did I miss something or did they just kind of totally drop the whole Walter-as-monkey subplot with no real resolution
This was my viewpoint Joby
Walter was testing each to see what vial would help him gain back that missing tissue, so instead of going through the proper scientific testing, he just tests each one until he finds the one meant for him. So I took it as just light hearted sub plot to offset the more serious main plot. Possibly since it is not meant for him, the effects are only short term.
Cool Episode again, they are putting in some great episodes. Looking forward to how these First People will come into play.
I was a bit surprised to find out that Peter was the one who was taking out the Shapeshifters. Like Walter said, not like Peter to do, and the way he did it, looks like a guy who knows what he is doing. Will be interesting to see where they take the Peter character, just hoping he does not change to much, as I like the Peter we know.
Also sounding like Leonard Nimoy might be back as William Bell. Bell's name came up in the episode last night in terms of those First People's book, and a recent statement that Nimoy is coming out of retirement
I agree Jeff:
It seems totally out of character for Peter.  My thought is that Walternate is using Peter's link to the machine to somehow control his actions.  Knowing that the mirror universe Olivia's computer was compromized Walternate had to take out the shapeshifters ASAP before critical information could be revealed.

I'm not so sure it was that out of character for Peter.  He's pretty upset about what this machine represents and what they want from him.  And since the shapeshifters are not really human, I could buy him just taking them out.  What surprised me more is he still kept it all a secret, even at the end from Olivia.  That seemed the most out of character to me.
