Fringe- Spoiler alert.

So I was watching the Two Towers last night on my new iPad, and I get to the first flashback scene in Gondor with Boromir and Faramir, and I was blown away to see Walter Bishop with crazy scraggly long hair playing their dad Denethor!  It was such a jarring moment because the actor does such a fantastic job in Fringe that I have a really hard time seeing anyone but Walter when I see that actor.  So weird, and I never put it together before then.

Two very different Roles, I know when I first started watching Fringe, took a few Episodes for me to get his Performance from Lord of the Rings out of my head :)

I did that too cause I rewatched Lord of the Rings a few weeks back and was so surprised to see John Noble as Denethor. I wondered how I'd completely missed that for two seasons of the show when I can name almost every other actor in the Lord of the Rings leading cast.

Holy moly, what is going on.  Although really:

[spoiler]Why bring in the cortexifan children if they just die?  Seems rather harsh to me.  Also seems like their powers backfired. 

"Evil" Walter is what Walter could have been had he retained his intelligence.  Rather scary if you ask me.  [/spoiler]

Finally finished watching the last few episodes of this season of "Fringe."  Really cool last two-parter and enjoyed most of what happened.  Liked how they handled the stuff with Peter and Walter too.  Now,...

[spoiler]It was fun to see so much of the other universe in the last episode.  Leonard Nimoy seemed to be having fun too.  But, I mean come on - who didn't see it coming that the "other" Olivia went back with them.  How did they fall for that one?  Also, didn't they need the real Olivia to help open the portal?  Anyway, since she seems to be able to bounce and travel between universes I don't see them keeping her locked up for too long next season.[/spoiler]

The season Finale was really good, and liked how they brought together the two Universes. The storylone is progressing very well, but I just wonder how things will shake out next season, and if all the Episodes will be wrapped up in it. I guess I am saying, even though I really like what is happening on the show, I wonder if one of stories will be gone or not, as it seems like everything might be focussed on what is happening between the two universes.

[spoiler]I also knew that it was the other Olivia that crossed over, but maybe the first few episodes will be fun until they catch on.[/spoiler]

Cool, sort of gives an idea on how the season is going to start, though I guess it was pretty obvious :) . I sort of like Olivia with that darker shade of hair.

I got caught up with Fringe, this season so far has been fantastic. I was not sure how they were going to handle the two universes, but they have done it very well. I am liking that they just focus on one of them in an Episode. Really enjoying watching how the Fringe division works in the Parallel universe, like the Episode about the fellow which was causing all the accidents, very well done and interesting to see how that team worked.

I agree Jeff, been a great season so far.  I also like how they do one universe and then the other week to week.  I'm having a little trouble with no one really suspecting Olivia on "our side" more.  Peter seems to a little.  Anyway, good stuff and fun to watch!

I'm still behind on this show, I have three more episodes to watch from last season and then the entirety of this season.  From what I've been hearing from friends and here I am looking forward to getting started.  It's so hard, there's so much to watch and just no time!  My DVR is at 90% capacity now, and I think I need to start recording stuff in SD or just break down and delete last season of Breaking Bad since I don't think I'll ever watch it.  I love that show too though...

DON'T delete "Breaking Bad!"  Last season was so awesome!  Can you off load from your DVR to an external drive or computer?  That's what I love about TIVO.  It's easy to do that.

Hmm I'm not sure about that.  I have a 1TB external that has lots of space on it, I'd love to be able to use that.  Somehow I doubt that Comcast would help me if I called them, piracy concerns and all that.  There's probably a way.  I'll look around on the web.
