Again BSG was snubbed in all the major catagories... too bad as many of those folks deserve an Emmy.

iceman

Why is it that every year this happens, even when it is given rave reviews and other top awards, It is unfortunate that these awards are often riddled with political undertones, that cause shows like BSG from being constantly overlooked. In some regard, this only undermines the credibility of these shows when this happens from year to year.

Geekyfanboy

At least Pushing Daises got two big ones..

Emmy nomination board ---  boo to you!!

I watch many of the dramas, but I think that they are going to almost always snub shows on the Sci-Fi channel. I was impressed that Tinman got a nod.

Eh, I dislike watching the emmys, or any other type of reward show.  Pointless imo.

I don't find them pointless. Many professions have an award of some sort. Why can't actors be told that they are doing a good job. They're people just like you and me. I will admit that there are a few to many award shows.. but Oscars (Movie), Emmy's (TV), Grammys (Music) and Tonys (Theater) are all well deserved.

Rico

I'm still waiting for the chemists award show.   ;)

Well, considering it typically takes about 20 years of hard work to get even considered for a Nobel Prize and it is selected on a world wide basis I wouldn't exactly compare the two.  Plus - no awards show with big dance numbers!  Although that might be a plus!

Hey sometimes it takes an actor 20 years of hard work before they are reconized :)

Sometimes.  I just don't agree with the majority of their choices for Emmy's, Oscar's, etc. and the fact that they seem to completely ignore some amazing work done by others.  And that is just plain wrong.

This is why I disagree with award shows.  Highly disagree with choices and some actors which do a crappy job still get awarded.  Or they simply don't need it.  (been awarded like 100s of times).

I totally agree with you there Rico. Drama always seem to get the award nods. Sci fi and Fatasy though some of it is the best drama around always seemed to get over looked.
