And the fact that the people in the crowd look out of place, some of the men have long hair, the main woman in the clip looks like she is wearing a wig so maybe this is like a RPG, you go into a game where you can be the Doctors companion, this would make sense when she says "there can't be two of you"

So we've got just under a month before we get to see the excellent looking Christmas special so what to do, dum de dum de dum, well i ofund a great ultimate Doctor Who theme mix on good old youtube with clips of all the Doctors put to their own version of the theme. Its 8 mins long so take a look if you fancy a bit of Who nostalgia and the theme tune.

Colin Salmon to be first black Doctor Who?

Another day, another potential candidate for the Doctor Who job - it's been reported that actor Colin Salmon could become the first black Time Lord.

BBC bosses are apparently keen for the James Bond star to replace David Tennant, who leaves in 2009, according to The Sun.

Colin, best known for playing M's assistant in three 007 films, appeared as Dr Moon in the sci-fi series earlier this year.

A BBC source told the paper: "He made a good impression when he appeared and bosses think the time is right to have the first black Doctor."

Colin was also tipped to land the Bond role before it went to Daniel Craig, currently appearing on the big screen in Quantum of Solace.

And in an interview with the Telegraph on Thursday, Daniel said that Barack Obama's victory in the US presidential elections paved the way for the first black Bond.

He said: "I think the role could easily be played by a black actor, because the character created by Ian Fleming in the Fifties has undergone a great deal of evolution and continues to be updated."

Interesting idea, but...rumours, rumours rumours!

On another tack, I read that as well as more Cybermen at Christmas, we'll get something called Cybershades. Other than the fact that they move somewhat faster than Cybermen, nothing else is revealed.

I know it's unnusual here but I don't have a podcast of my own.

New Cover for the Radio Times.

Is this for the Christmas edition? I assume it must be but I've never come across them published up front before.

Do they always do it?

Ah, OK. I was looking at it on my phone so it was all a bit small to read. It's all rather clear on the big screen.

Would that be a CyberLeader on the left do you think?

(And an interview with Richard Armitage - Spooks is as good as ever this series too  :offtopic)

I know it's unnusual here but I don't have a podcast of my own.

They are called The Cybershade a new form of Cybermen, they move quicker.

Feathers

Oh that's them?

I was expecting something smaller and more mobile for some reason, not simply a different mask.

Oh well, it shows I've done 0 research on this one doesn't it :)

I know it's unnusual here but I don't have a podcast of my own.

Still think the guy on the Radio Times is a CyberShade? I reakon they're the furry things on 4 legs with the golden faces. Not sure I'm that impressed if they are though.

We'll see!

Hmm yeah after seeing the new bits they do look kind of like a dog with a bad mask on. New clips on youtube from the BBC site, UK only though.
