I totally agree.. didn't like her in the Xmas special but she really turned into something special in season four.

If Donna grew on me I'd cut her off! But actually, I agree that she was a lot better than I expected. Maybe not one of the best but certainly a companion I could have continued to watch.

I liked Donna as a companion. :(  However, I did not like Martha.  I know that's odd, but I have my reasons.

I rank DOnna up there because of the humor.  I like Rose and Martha as well as others I have seen in some of the older shows but Donna really cracked me up.

I'll say this about Donna. My wife has said and I quote "Screw Doctor Who! After what happened to Donna, I'll never watch another episode."

Granted she's still quite upset that Adric died and I had to beg her to watch the new series despite that grudge.
