Is this the "BMF" that everyone keeps talking about?

Yes!  Cost is $150 right now - many in the stores.  I expect them to go on sale at some point.

Makes me laugh at all the scalpers who showed up to the midnight opening of Toy's R' Us and WalMart only to find no e-bay premium.

Meds

Whats e-bay premium and what do you mean by scalpers?

Bryancd

Scalpers are opportunist who show up at the store openings and buy ALL the limited edition or "hot" merchandise. These items disappear from the store shelves overnight and then suddenly appear on e-bay for a hefty premium over retail.

Oh those greedy so and so's ahh. So i'm guessing you were only allowed to buy one then. So are they available to buy now? Wonder if they are available here?

Actually, no, most stores don't often enforce a one per policy although I think they should on opening night for the most derired products. Hasbro just shipped a ton of them and oversupplied the market.
I did hear awful stories of scalpers literally selling figures out of their carts to people before they had even bought them! Like, "Give me $10 and I'll give you the figure"! Scummers.

The box for the BMF is huge, I have seen it a few times when I was at Walmart or TRU. I have not really been tempted yet, as I don't really have the space for something that big. If it drops in price a bit, and I move into a larger house, then I might consider it.

I heard the stories as well about people selling figures they did not even own yet as well. Seems pretty rotten thing to do, and you would hope a person would examine themselfs and why they would do something like that.
