I stumbled on a cool DS9 clip and it got me to thinking that it might be fun for us to post some of our favorite Trek video clips.

Here's the one I stumbled on- it's from the DS9 episode "In The Pale Moonlight".  I dig the way Sisko tries (and fails) to convince himself that he feels no guilt over the Big Lie he's perpetrated on the Romulans.  Good stuff!

Anyone else have some clips they'd like to share?

That is a great scene and one of the many reasons that DS9 was probably my favorite of the series.

If I was any good at embedding video I would have to find some of my favorites, alas I am not so I will have to content myself with commenting on others.

To embed youtube video, just copy and paste the URL of the video.  When making a post on the forum, hit the "youtube" icon.  All you have to do then is paste the URL between the two "youtube" tags in your post.

This is a compilation featuring one of the most beautiful pieces of music from TNG- "The Inner Light".  Everytime I watch this clip, I end up getting a little misty eyed...

Well I was looking up my favorite scene of Star Trek on you tube and came across this.. it's very interesting.. I'm not sure where it comes from.

That's a pretty cool video.  This theory was put forth in one of the "Shatnerverse" Trek books.. I can't remember which one though.  "I think it might have been "The Return".

Yep, there have been many theories that the V'Ger machine planet was the home of the Borg, but it has never been accepted as ST cannon. I like the idea a lot, though.

This is a video that was part of the bonus features in the Star Trek: Legacy game for PC and the current gen consoles.

My favorite...

Nice!  DS9-
THE. BEST. STAR TREK SERIES.
EVER.   8)

I have to agree. The writing and character development are just amazing. In TOS, TNG and VOY there are clearly a group of 2 to 4 'main' characters, DS9 was a truly ensemble cast and I think that helped a lot.

OK...favorite Star Trek moment? How about all the times Beverley and Jean Luc were almost a couple? Sorry, couldn't find one that didn't have music set to it.

If you're looking for a just one scene.. I always loved this one!

Awesome! I have not seen that. I'm working on watching all of DS9. I've seen very few episodes of Voyager and DS9... can't wait to see what I've missed. :)

Hey Joe, just click "Preview" beneath the dialog box at the bottom of this page...then find the "You Tube" icon that is under the Bold, Italic, and Underline options. It's just above the smiley face emoticon. When you click on it, it will paste a line of script in the field you are typing in. You can copy the url from the youtube page that has the video you like, between the brackets in the code. I included an example below:
