Guns n' Roses has promised this record since the mid 90s! They have played songs live from the elusive record since 2001 and one track came out on the 1999 movie End of Days. Axl Rose announces every year to expect the new record "this fall." And it never comes. Best Buy has anounced it comes out at Best Buy on November 23rd.

There have been leaks, band members descriptions of it, live versions, constant rewrites and rerecordings. Many have wondered if it was a ruse to keep interest in the band.

AlanP, I do believe. It's never been this close to release.

I was a huge fan back in the day, but I just don't see how this could possibly live up to the previous albums.

Plus, GnR without Slash isn't really GnR. I doubt it'll be as good as Velvet Revolver.

I have to agree with Dan (Pickard), I don't think this will live up to the other albums. They spent 10 years on it, so I got to think it will be horribly over produced. Music like GnR's usually doesnt take to long for the bands to record, so it will be interesting to hear how this one sounds.
