I like the episode quite a bit.  The idea/plot was interesting but maybe could have been a bit more fleshed out in a few places.  I already like Clara a great deal, but that was helped by seeing her already twice before (a sly move on their part).  Matt Smith was great again and I loved seeing more location work this time too in and around the city.  Loved the bit about Clara saying "Doctor Who" a few times - very fun!  One question...
Have we seen this bad guy before?  The guy wanting all the people sucked into the cloud.
Yeah, this was a fun episode. Glad it's back!

Read through for the 50th happened today. Nice looking photo, thankfully no Billie Piper popping up lol.

I still hope Tennant is a diversion and we'll get a little bit more in the way of Doctors but I'm not holding my breath.

The weekend was an OK show but seemed a little bitty in places and took a while to get going. There wasn't enough of an explanation (i.e. Why?) at the end for my taste but it was fun enough to watch. (Personally, I hate the whole 'Doctor Who' repeated line with a passion. It makes me wince every time.)

I know it's unnusual here but I don't have a podcast of my own.

Didn't enjoy The Rings of Akhaten!  I thought it was dull, such a disappointment after last week's show!  :(

Hmm. It's recorded but I have to wait for the kids before I can watch it these days :( ;)

I am yet to manage to stay awake while watching these new episodes. Not neccesarily because they're bad, I've just been tired but the excitement is fading for me for some reason...

Yeah this episode was a bit weak in parts but the whole Doctor speech was fantastic and again Clara is holding her own. She reminds me of classic companions.

A little underwhelmed by this one, perhaps because I didn't really understand what was going on. It seemed to be very big on Clara character building but perhaps a little weak in terms of intelligible story.

I'm really enjoying these episodes so far. You guys in the UK are just hard to please with Doctor Who. ;)

Too much childhood history with the programme provokes heightened expectations :)

I think the story was perfect.
I love how the first page from the last episode was used to create a new chapter this episode.
