No. The Tardis didnt have a stair case during the original run. The  standard tardis was the white consolr room, several corridors and the secondary cosole room. The odd bedroom and eating are was seen. In RTD era you only saw a staircase during Tennants scebe when he is choosing clothes.

Anyways back on topic, Matt Smith. He brings a slightly darker edge to the proceedings does he not??

Ive been in a police box, in fact there is one five minutes away from where i live, alas it onlyhad a stool and a bench inside. Not what i hoped.

Smith is darker and how the Doctor should be, hes over 1300 years old (not 900 sort it out Moffat) and so has a lot to deal with. If you ever see some second Doctor episodes you can see some homages going on.

Finally watched the final two episodes of the season.. LOVED the second to last episodes and really enjoyed the finale. Wasn't my favorite finale of the New Who but it was fun. I think Matt Smith and Karen Gillan are FANTASTIC.. From the first episode I was hooked on Matt Smith as the Doctor.. can't say that about Tennant when he took over from Eccleston. Can't wait to see where they go with Series Six.

Do we know if they are going to do any special between the series like they have done before.. I assume there will be a Christmas special... any others?

Just watched the finale on BBC America. This is the 4th time I've seen it and I just realized something. I didn't notice it the first 3 times I saw it.

Meds - is the music from the most recent season out anywhere yet?

As far as I know there have been no reports of the soundtrack coming out but if it follows past releases it. Could be out in November. The Doctor Who at the proms was filmed featuring this seasons music and will be shown this week I believe. Hopefully America will get that soon.
